Kannada cinema’s Crazy Star, V Ravichandran’s younger son, Vikram, is all set for his launch. Vikram will debut with Trivikrama, a romantic action entertainer directed by Sahana HS Murthy, in which the actor is paired with model-turned-actress Akanksha Sharma of the viral hit Jugnu fame. The film is slated to release in theatres on June 24 and with just under a month to go, the team has kicked up promotional activities.

After a recent press briefing to announce the release date of the film, last evening, the team had put out a promotional video for the launch of the video song ‘Mummy Please Mummy’. The promotional video featured Century Star Shiva Rajkumar, in quick conversation with Sahana and Vikram, in which he not only wished them all the very best for the film release, but also said he would launch the song. The Hattrick Hero spoke about the close association his family has with that of Ravichandran’s and even joined Vikram in doing the hook step from the song, which has been choreographed by Raju Sundaram.

A little while ago, team Trivikrama launched the video song, which features Vikram and Chikkanna, as the former pleads with his onscreen mother to allow him to have a love marriage, and presents his case as to why it is better than an arranged match. The song, written by Nagendra Prasad, has been composed by Arjun Janya and sung by Vijay Prakash.

Trivikrama, which bears the tagline A High Voltage Love Story, will also star Akshara Gowda and Rohit Roy, Chikkanna, Sadhu Kokila, Tulasi, Shivamani, Adhi Lokesh, among others. Produced by Somanna for Gowri Entertainers, Trivikrama will be a pan-India release for Vikram, with versions in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.
