Maddock Films' completed projects Sarvagunn Sampanna Rumi Ki Sharafat, and Pooja Meri Jaan are delayed due to OTT platforms not meeting Dinesh Vijan's valuation, despite being ready for release.

Munjya Stree 2, and the megahit Chhaava are just a few of the recent successes from Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films. On one hand, the production company is hard at work on projects like Mahavatar starring Vicky Kaushal and Bhool Chuk Maaf and Cocktail 2. On the other hand, there is a noticeable lack of progress on three finished films.

As per Mid Day, the three films Sarvagunn Sampanna Rumi Ki Sharafat, and Pooja Meri Jaan are shot and ready to be released. However, getting favourable OTT partnerships has taken a while, so their release is still in the works.
According to those familiar with the matter, Vijan has yet to find a streaming service that is willing to pay the amount he thinks the films are worth. The producer supposedly has faith in the performances and content of these medium-sized films that address various social issues.
All of these mid-sized films, featuring great performances and a wide range of subjects, reflect the production's goal of presenting broad content. However, a source revealed that because Vijan hasn't been successful in striking deals with streaming platforms suitable for these projects, they are experiencing delays despite being prepared for more than a year. He thinks the films are worth a particular amount, but the platforms think they're too pricey.
Huma Qureshi (who was last seen in Tarla and Valimai) and Mrunal Thakur's Pooja Meri Jaan deals with stalking, whereas Radhika Madan's Rumi Ki Sharafat is a comedy social drama. Sarvagunn Sampanna and both were filmed in 2023. Originally scheduled for November 2024, Pooja Meri Jaan was pushed back to follow the debut of Chhaava by Vijan, according to a report last year.
Another insider stated that the producer believes Vijan is correct when considering the situation from his perspective. Maddock Films can now afford to remain patient. The acquisition budgets have reduced after the pandemic. Yet Vijan is adamant about not selling them for too little compared to their potential.
All three finished films are in a state of uncertainty while Maddock's schedule as a whole progresses. Vijan appears content to hold off until the market catches up to his standards for now.
