After director Maruthi became emotional during his speech, Prabhas took over the mic and spoke about how interesting the film has turned out to be.

“The climax of the film is outstanding and will shock everyone. I was stunned when I heard it, and that was one of the main reasons I signed the film,” said Prabhas.

The Baahubali star also revealed that his fans will have a blast in theatres, as The Raja Saab is packed with comedy, romance, and horror elements in equal measure.

Malavika Mohanan plays the female lead and makes her Telugu debut with this film. The movie also stars Niddhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar in key roles. Prabhas added that he was bored of doing back-to-back action films, and when Maruthi approached him with a horror-comedy, he did not want to miss the opportunity to be part of such a fun project.

“I remember asking Maruthi if he had anything for me. He asked for some time and came back with The Raja Saab. I had never heard a story like this before. The emotional bond between a grandmother and her grandson forms the core of the film, and it will appeal to all sections of the audience,” Prabhas concluded.

The Raja Saab locks OTT platform
