Malayalam: Prakambanam

A horror comedy that unfolds at a college hostel after a youngster gets possessed by a spirit and that of his grandmother. How the youth’s college buddies deal with the chaotic situation is depicted in the fun film. Ganapathi, Sagar Surya, and Al Ameen play the carefree youths, while Mallika Sukumaran appears as the grandmother. Vijesh Panathur-directed film garnered attention for its fun plot and performances. If you are looking for some mindless spooky entertainment, Prakambanam is unlikely to disappoint.

Telugu: Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi

Telugu star Ravi Teja stars as Ram, a wealthy winemaker from Hyderabad, who heads to Spain for a business trip but there he ends up having an affair with Manasa. Though Ram returns home, Manasa too turns up in Hyderabad. Now Ram has to prevent his wife Balamani from finding the truth about Manasa. A 2026 Sankranthi release, Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi made its OTT premiere after two months. Ashika Ranganath and Dimple Hayathi play the female leads in the comedy drama film.

Tamil: Pookie

A public spat after a road rage incident forms the final straw for Kailash and Aazhi, prompting them to call it quits on their six-year relationship. The film takes a close look at couple relationships in today’s times. Ajay Dhishan and RK Dhanusha play the lead roles. Ganesh Chandra has directed the Gen Z romantic comedy in Tamil.

Hindi: Aspirants Season 3

In the latest seasons of Aspirants, DM Abhilash is facing an enquiry after serious allegations are raised against him by ALC Sandeep. The series, with two timelines, tracks a young Abhilash’s attempts to crack the IAS in the past. Naveen Kasturia, Sunny Hinduja, and Jatin Goswami lead the cast of the TVF series, which is streaming on Prime Video and can also be accessed by OTTplay Premium subscribers with a top-up plan.
