Now, the latest update is that the comedy caper will be out on OTT on January 19, 2025. This means the romantic comedy will be available on streaming platforms within a month of its theatrical release.

Premante stars Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Anandhi, Suma Kanakala, and Vennela Kishore in key roles. The film was directed by Navaneeth Sriram and features music composed by Leon James.

Made on a very low budget, the film failed to click with audiences in theatres, resulting in a disappointing box office performance. However, thanks to the lucrative OTT deal with Netflix, the makers have now landed in a safe zone despite the film being declared a flop theatrically.

This marks Priyadarshi’s second consecutive flop in 2025. His previous release, Mithra Mandali, also ended as a huge disappointment at the box office. With two back-to-back failures, the actor will need to buckle up and make stronger script choices to bounce back in the coming months.

On the other hand, Anandhi, who has been in the industry for over a decade and a half, had pinned a lot of hopes on Premante. Unfortunately, the film did not bring her the much-needed success either.
