Matka King, Raakh, Teen Kauwe

Prime Video shared a list of upcoming new series and movies on its platform. From Vijay Varma's much-awaited Matka King to Ali Fazal's Raakh, and Barun Sobti and Aditi Rao Hydari's Welcome to Khoya Mahal, several new series have been announced during its slate 2026.

Vijay Varma's Matka King

Set in 1960s Mumbai, Matka King follows a cotton trader who creates the game ‘Matka,’ turning the city upside down and bringing gambling to the masses. Directed by Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, it stars Vijay Varma, Kritika Kamra, Sai Tamhankar, Siddharth Jadhav, Bhupendra Jadavat, and Gulshan Grover in a gripping tale of ambition and risk.

Ali Fazal's Raakh

Raakh series tells the tragic story of two missing teenagers, which tears apart a close-knit family and sends the entire city into turmoil. A ruthless officer leads a massive nationwide manhunt and is plunged into a dark world of violence and human degradation.

Directed by Prosit Roy, it is created, written, and co-directed by Anusha Nandakumar and Sandeep Saket, with dialogues by Ayush Trivedi. Raakh stars Ali Fazal, Sonali Bendre, Aamir Bashir, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Rakesh Bedi.

Bobby Deol's Teen Kauwe

Teen Kauwe follows a former spy, long thought dead, and identified as a spy. He must return to unmask the traitor who framed him, all while his own agency hunts him down. The series is created by Abbas Tyrewala and directed by co-creator Priyanka Ghose, with writing by Abbas Tyrewala, Arghya Lahiri, and Omkar Modgi.

The thrilling cast includes Sidhant Gupta, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pavail Gulati, Ronit Roy, Isha Talwar, Chandni Bainz, Faisal Malik, and Bobby Deol.

Barun Sobti and Aditi Rao Hydari's Welcome to Khoya Mahal

Welcome to Khoya Mahal, which follows ex-royal half-siblings Kanishk and Kanupriya, who inherit their family’s remote heritage hotel, The Khoya Mahal. Desperate to escape, they devise a reckless plan, unaware that the hotel has a mind and secrets of its own. Created and directed by Konkona Sensharma and Jaydeep Sarkar, the series stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Barun Sobti, Aparna Sen, Harish Khanna, Master Luca Adhikari, and Dhruv Sehgal.

Kay Kay Menon's Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya

Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya series follows a principal who tries to fix a dysfunctional government school, but teaching becomes chaotic when a disorganised group of teachers tackles the broken system by cleaning out blackboards one by one. Created by Sameer Saxena and Biswapati Sarkar, directed by Himank Gaur, it stars Kay Kay Menon, Naveen Kasturia, Prasanna Bisht, Abhimanyu Singh, Archana Puran Singh, and Deven Bhojani.

Carnaame Badla Gear Palti Kismat

Carnaame Badla Gear Palti Kismat follows four friends who steal cars to escape debt. However, one job escalates into a dangerous interstate operation. Hunted by loan sharks, cartels, and cops, their only hope is loyalty. Created and directed by Vinay Waikul, written by Sambit Mishra and Saurabh Sawant, the series stars Purav Jha, Naman Jain, Saaquib Nazar Nazrul Ayubi, Prayrak Mehta, Sikandar Kher, and Sai Tamhankar.

Tax Department Story

Tax Department Story follows a newly minted Revenue Services officer in Agra who takes on the city’s most powerful white-collar criminal, only to learn that winning comes with a price. Created by Prashant Raj and Samyak Singh, directed by Saurabh Bhave, the series stars Ravi Kishan, Aditya Rawal, Ashvini Bhave, Rajesh Kumar, Barkha Singh, Sarika Singh, Prateik Pachori, and Kaveri Seth.

Rafoo

Rafoo follows a struggling singer who is forced to live with his ex-mother-in-law, while his successful ex-wife lives upstairs with her new lover. An uncomfortable encounter stirs up old feelings—but is love worth surviving this chaotic nightmare? Directed by Shashank Bali and written by Raghuvir Shekhawat, Shashank Bali, Sanjay Kohli, Zeenat Lakhani, and Vihaan Kohli, it stars Maniesh Paul and Angira Dhar.

Lukkhe

Lukkhe centres on a young athlete who enters the dangerous rap world of Punjab to investigate a drug syndicate and as a result becomes entangled in the bonds of love, family, guilt, and brotherhood. Created by Agrim Joshi and Debojit Das Purkayastha, directed by Himank Gaur, the series stars Raashi Khanna, King, Palak Tiwari, Lakshvir Saran, Shivankit Parihar, Nakul Roshan Sachdev, and Kritika Bhardwaj.

Dahaad Season 2

Season 2 of Dahaad follows Sub-Inspector Anjali Meghwal, who investigates the disappearance of a twelve-year-old in a quiet Rajasthani town. It uncovers the story of a chilling serial killer, showing how power, patriarchy, and privilege can breed brutal violence.

Directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, and written by a team including Zoya Akhtar, the series stars Sonakshi Sinha, Gulshan Devaiah, Vineet Kumar Singh, Sikandar Kher, Aisha Ahmed, Jyoti Kapoor, and Vidhaan Sharma.

Call Me Bae Season 2

Meanwhile, Ananya Panday's Call Me Bae Season 2 has also been announced during the Prime Video Slate announcement.

Season 2 of Call Me Bae follows Bae as she launches her own news show and navigates the chaotic mix of fame, love, and workplace drama. Directed by Collin D'cunha and written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair, the season stars Ananya Panday, Vir Das, Shruti Haasan, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur.

Nazdeekiyan

Nazdeekiyan follows Seher and Abhay, whose work partnership unexpectedly draws their spouses, Ved and Meera, into a passionate affair. Directed by Ruchir Arun, the series stars Paresh Pahuja, Aakanksha Singh, Taaha Shah Badusha, and Nikita Dutta.

The Traitors India Season 2

Season 2 of The Traitors India returns with Karan Johar as host and 20 celebrities ready to play a high-stakes game of deception. In this ruthless competition, players betray each other in an attempt to unmask hidden traitors, and all compete for the grand prize. Directed by Nishant Nayak, the season promises drama, strategy, and dhoka (betrayal) at every turn.

Dono Mile Iss Tarah
