Priyadarshan has finally made his movie with Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan official, and it is titled Haiwaan - here's everything you need to know about it!

Priyadarshan has confirmed his next film with Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. The filmmaker, who had been making headlines for Hera Pheri 3, is now set to work with the Tashan duo in his next movie. Titled Haiwaan, the movie would be Priyadarshan's third film with Akshay in the recent past, after Bhooth Bangla and Hera Pheri 3. Here's everything you need to know...

Priyadarshan confirms Haiwaan with Akshay Kumar-Saif Ali Khan

Priyadarshan posted a photo of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan from Lord's Stadium in London. He confirmed the movie as Haiwaan while posting a picture of the actors chilling and enjoying the England vs India Test Match. "Haiwaan my next film with Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan at Lords," he penned alongside the photo.

Haiwaan the Hindi adaptation of Priyadarshan's Oppam?

Reportedly, Haiwaan is the Hindi film adaptation of Priyadarshan's own film, Oppam. The movie was the story of a visually challenged man named Jayaraman (originally played by Malayalam superstar Mohanlal) who needs to protect a young girl Nandini (Meenakshi Anoop) from a serial killer Vasu (Samuthirakani). The serial killer is a victim of Nandini's father, who wrongly sentenced Vasu's father to jail, thus killing his family in the process.

Akshay Kumar trolled for his presence at England vs India match, netizens claim he came for Jadeja biopic

Akshay Kumar was trolled and called 'panouti' after he was spotted at Lord's Stadium with wife Twinkle Khanna. This happened over the assumption that Team India always loses when he attends a match. He was also teased for reaching the stadium to claim the Jadeja biopic.

Akshay Kumar-Priyadarshan's other collaborations

Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan have completed shooting for Bhooth Bangla. They are to resume work on Hera Pheri 3 soon. Following the movie, they are likely to start work on Haiwaan. Thus, the film is expected to go on floors not before the end of 2026.
