Not too long ago, Variety India reported that Bhooth Bangla 2 was originally imagined as Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Interestingly, netizens also felt the connection when they came across Bhooth Bangla leaked images from the sets. However, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and 3 makers released a media statement and said that they held the rights to the movie. Now, Priyadarshan reacted to the news during his interaction with E Times. “This is not true because neither I nor the producer (Bhushan Kumar) discussed a second part,” he said. Bhool Bhulaiyaa marked Akshay and Priyadarshan’s first horror-comedy outing.
