Hera Pheri 3 reunites Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty; Priyadarshan insists on a strong script to honour the franchise, while fans eagerly await the sequel’s release.

Fans of the legendary comedy series are eagerly anticipating Hera Pheri 3 due to its reunion of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty. Among the many problems that have beset the project is the controversy that briefly surrounded Rawal's abrupt departure, which shocked fans and franchise owner Kumar. The project is supposedly back on track now that the veteran actor has confirmed his comeback; production is set to commence in February or March of next year.

Priyadarshan recently discussed the sequel with Pinkvilla. He stated, "I cannot tell if I am doing the third part unless and until I can crack a film which has to do justice to the first instalment." He emphasised that the sequel must match the quality of the original. The filmmaker also said, "The first part was born, but the third one shouldn’t let it die. If I am doing the film, I have to make sure that it is tolerable for people who watched the first part."
Priyadarshan will never attempt part three unless he successfully completes the entire film, further highlighting his cautious approach to the project. He also said, "If a good script doesn’t turn out to my conviction, I will not do the film. I have climbed certain heights in my career from which I don’t want to fall badly."

When Rawal stated he was leaving the film in May of this year, the project's future became cloudy. This prompted Kumar, who is producing Hera Pheri 3 through his company Cape of Good Films, to take legal action. Fans had been hoping for a reunion of the trio for a while, but Rawal eventually declared that he would be returning despite these obstacles.
The Hera Pheri series has shaped so much history. Released in 2000, the film's initial cast included Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar, and Sunny Shetty, who played the roles of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, Raju, and Shyam, respectively, and was directed by Priyadarshan. Under the direction of Neeraj Vora, the 2006 sequel Phir Hera Pheri continued the story of the charming yet clumsy protagonists.
The confirmation of the primary cast and Priyadarshan's emphasis on a quality script have raised expectations. Now that the series' legacy has been established, fans are eagerly waiting for news on whether or not Hera Pheri 3 will live up to the franchise's reputation for humour and charm.
