Priyanka, in a saree-clad avatar, stunned one and all in the first-look poster, and her speech at the mega launch also won the hearts of many. Right from mouthing Mahesh Babu's trademark dialogues to getting back to her roots with Varanasi, Priyanka spoke her heart out at the event.

"I thank Rajamouli for thinking of me to play Mandakini, and I am super excited to see what he has in store in the days to come," she said. Adding further, Priyanka Chopra also added, "Working with the likes of Mahesh Babu has been a huge pleasure, and his fans will be shocked to see him like never before," said Priyanka.

Priyanka Chopra being paid big bucks for Varanasi

Dressed in a white traditional avatar, Priyanka introduced the teaser to the audience and also gave an intro about Mahesh's role in the film. The news is that Priyanka Chopra Jonas is being paid more than Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran for this big-budget film that will hit the screens in April 2027.

Priyanka is currently shooting for the climax of the film and is quite happy that she chose Rajamouli's film to make a perfect comeback. Mahesh Babu plays the role of Lord Ram in Varanasi, which has music by MM Keeravani.
