Shree Nandu is one of the most talented actors in Telugu cinema, but he has been struggling to score a major hit for over a decade. Naturally, he pinned high hopes on his latest romantic drama, Psych Siddhartha. Made on a shoestring budget, the film was promoted aggressively; however, it sadly failed to make an impact at the box office.

Where to stream Psych Siddhartha on OTT?

We at OTTplay have now learned that Aha has acquired the digital rights to the film for a fancy price and will begin streaming it from February 4, 2026. Psych Siddhartha is loosely inspired by Arjun Reddy and features Shree Nandu in the role of a man who is cheated in love.

The film marks the directorial debut of young filmmaker Varun Reddy and also signals the comeback of Yaamini Bhaskar. Her performance, which featured a mature character, received decent appreciation from a section of the audience.

While the film contained a few emotionally engaging moments, the way the emotional drama was presented did not resonate with theatre audiences. In recent times, several films starring noted actors have found a second life on OTT platforms after failing at the box office.

A similar trend was seen with Mowgli, which ended as a disaster in theatres but later clocked solid viewership on OTT, as many viewers chose to skip the theatrical experience and watched it digitally instead.

The same could potentially happen with Psych Siddhartha. Despite being well-promoted, the film did not attract audiences to theatres due to negative word of mouth.

Shree Nandu makes a comeback with back to back films

Shree Nandu also had a disappointing 2025, as his other film, Dhandoraa, released in December and failed commercially. However, that social drama has found renewed attention on OTT and is currently trending on Amazon Prime Video. OTTplay subscribers can stream the film with a special top-up option.

Coming back to Psych Siddhartha, director Varun Reddy had earlier hit back at critics who panned the film, stating that it was made with a lot of heart. He also expressed confidence that the film would prove its worth once it lands on OTT.
