When and where to watch Pune Highway

Pune Highway has now released on OTT. It is available on Prime Video. The film quietly made its way to the platform on Friday, July 4, 2025.

What is Pune Highway all about?

Starring Jim Sarbh and Amit Sadh in the lead roles, Pune Highway is the story of childhood friends who plan and take a trip. However, while on their way, they get entangled in a murder mystery. The victim is related to the friends’ group and thus, everyone is a suspect. Is a murderer actually in the midst, or is there something that does not meet the eye? The film explores a political angle, too. Inspired from a play, the story of Pune Highway explores the very theme.

The film comes from the makers of Barot House, a psychological-thriller movie which had a similar storyline. Starring Manjari and Amit Sadh in the lead roles, Barot House is the story of a happy family that shifts to a house in Daman, where a strange event occurs. The couple shifts with their four children, a son and three daughters but on the eve of Janmashtami, one of their daughters, Shreya, goes missing. The story, inspired from a real-life incident, unfolds what happened to her.

Ever since Pune Highway was announced, Manjari Fadnis received the loudest cheers. While Jim Sarbh and Amit Sadh caught people's attention for their subtle acting, her owning it even in a small glimpse had fans go gaga over what the story has to unfold and sure enough, those who saw the film in theatres were not disappointed.
