Damodara, the brain behind the film, has announced his next titled Kanyakumari. His upcoming film is touted to be a romantic entertainer. He’s reuniting with actress Geeth Saini again for the project that features Sree Charan Rachakonda. Kanyakumari also marks Damodara’s turn as a producer with his banner Radical Pictures. The first poster of the film was launched yesterday.

The entertainer set against a rural backdrop is expected to have an unusual premise. The makers promise to unveil a new dimension to Srikakulam through the film and says the story will driven by its rustic atmosphere. The shoot of Kanyakumari is nearing completion. As we speak, the final schedule of the film is progressing at a brisk pace now and the release date will be confirmed shortly.

In the picturesque first poster, Sree Charan and Geeth are seen with their cycles by the lakeside in a village. Satish Reddy, Variniya Mamudi and Siddharth A are co-producing the film. Apart from direction and production, Damodara has written the dialogues as well. Sahitya Sagar is the composer for the entertainer which has cinematography by Siva Gajula and is edited by Naresh Adupa.

The director’s debut outing Pushpaka Vimanam, presented by Liger star Vijay Deverakonda, touched upon issues like the importance of consent in relationships and dealt with the husband-wife equation with sensitivity without compromising on its entertainment quotient.
