A kickass dance number can go a long way in ensuring good publicity and Telugu film history has a handful of examples to suggest the same. And in the case of Nithiin’s Macherla Niyojakavargam, the popularity of Ra Ra Reddy has given a wonderful momentum to their promotional campaign ahead of its release on August 12. The film marks the directorial debut of editor MS Raja Shekhar Reddy.

Anjali, who hasn’t been in action in Telugu cinema lately, dances like there’s no tomorrow in Ra Ra Reddy, a perfect follow-up to her ‘Blockbuster’ song appearance in Sarrainodu. The song, lyricised by Kasarla Shyam, gains steam with its hook line 'I am Ready' and there’s no looking back later, thanks to Lipsika’s energetic rendition and Nithiin’s free-flowing dance moves complementing Anjali.

Mahati Swara Sagar, who is in need of a solid album to cement his position among listeners, recreates his Chalo magic yet again here. The creative choice to include Ranu Ranu from Jayam in the end, works well. Through the addition, a new generation of listeners get an opportunity to rediscover what’s Nithiin’s best dance number in his career. No wonder the actor thanked RP Patnaik at the song launch event.

While we all remember the impact created by the Bombhaat song from Nithiin’s Lie, the actor has finally got another quality number that he could flaunt with pride. Incidentally, Bombhaat, rendered by Rahul Sipligunj, was composed by Mahati Swara Sagar’s father, Mani Sharma. Will Ra Ra Reddy help Nithiin score another blockbuster after Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde? We shall know soon.

Produced by Sudhakar Reddy, Nikitha Reddy under Sreshth Movies, the film is presented by Rajkumar Akella. Prasad Murella has cranked the camera for the mass entertainer, which is edited by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. Mamidala Thirupathi pens the dialogues and Sahi Suresh is the art director. Venkat, Ravi Varma and Anal Arasu have choreographed the action sequences.
