The world seems colourful when you’re in love and more so, when you fall for someone for the first time. High school crushes are a part and parcel of most of our lives and there’s something inherently beautiful about the feeling, be it the madness, the excitement or the innocence. The title track of the Telugu film Rajahmundry Rose Milk is a nostalgic throwback to this phase.

Jai Jasti, Ananthika play the lead roles in the film. In the song, Jai is instantly smitten by his classmate, played by Ananthika, and finds creative ways to express his love for her through the lyrics penned by Chandrabose. Sample the opening lines - ‘Nuvve Mudduga, Navvey Navvaga..Unde Ninduga, First day First show chusinattuga..Accha Teluginti muggula..Amma chethi pindivantala…’

The song is instantly catchy and captures the mischief in the mind of a teenager when he’s attracted to a girl. The visuals in the number depict the guy losing control of himself as he falls for her - he laughs at himself while watching her images, doesn’t mind getting drenched in rain, dancing like there’s no tomorrow. Chandrabose, the lyricist, is shown taking an active role in the song recording.

The chorus provided by a group of children helps the song end on a high note. The references to phrases like Konaseema Kobbaraku, Rajahmundry Rose Milk, Colgate Kotha Merupu, Kolanuloni Kaluvarekha, enrich the impact of the number. It’s just what you expect from a class act like Chandrabose. Anurag Kulkarni has immense fun singing this joyous number and it shows in his voice.

Naani Bandreddi has helmed the film and Ajay Prasada has scored the music. Saregama Music has procured the audio rights of the film produced by D Suresh Babu and Pradeep Uppalapati. Shakthi Arvind has cranked the camera and Karthik Srinivas is the editor. Vennela Kishore, Praveen, Darahas, Venkata Ganesh, Hemanth, Madhu too play key roles.
