We know that Superstar Rajinikanth has been on a spiritual tour of sorts recently. The Jailer actor was accompanied by his elder daughter, director Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The father and daughter first duo visited the Lord Balaji temple in Tirupati for the darshan of the god and Rajinikanth stated that he was glad to visit the temple after a span of six years. Later in the evening, Rajinikanth was seen with music director AR Rahman at the Ameen Peer Dargah at Kadapa in Andhra Pradesh where he paid his respects. Pictures and videos from both the visits went viral on social media.

In the meantime, AR Rahman's son Ameen recently uploaded a picture of him, travelling along with his father, Superstar Rajinikanth and his daughter Aishwarya inside a private jet. While Rajinikanth is seen in a white kurta, AR Rahman seems to be sporting a maroon one. Aishwarya is seen in a colourful salwar kameez and Ameen himself dressed in casuals. He captioned it, "This picture is too goated".


On the professional front, Rajinikanth is currently working on director Nelson Dilipkumar's upcoming action entertainer Jailer. Rajinikanth plays Muthuvel Pandian, a jailer in the film. The makers had dropped a glimpse of his look from the film on the occasion of Rajinikanth's birthday and soon after its release, it went viral. The film also marks the Tamil debut of Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar.Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan and Yogi Babu are part of the star cast as well. The film is bankrolled by Sun Pictures and is expected to hit screens during mid-2023.

Rajinikanth will be seen in a cameo in Aishwarya's upcoming directorial Lal Salaam, which revolves around cricket and interestingly has music by AR Rahman.  Rajinikanth had earlier visited AR Rahman at his studio and had experienced his virtual reality thriller, Le Musk.

Rahman had shared the video on his social media page on the occasion of Rajinikanth's birthday (December 12) and had stated, "Happy birthday Superstar Rajinikanth ji. Thank you for your kind words about the Le Musk experience EPI." (sic).
