Rakhi Sawant’s mother dies during battle with cancer

Rakhi Sawant revealed her mother was in a critical condition for 25 days.

Rakhi Sawant’s mother is no more. The actress confirmed the same through her social media channels. She shared a video remembering her mother while she was battling cancer on her final days.

Rakhi shared a video of her crying in a corner while her mother sobbed while on the hospital bed. Jaya Sawant had difficulty breathing and seeing her condition, Rakhi was inconsolable.

“Mere paas khone ke liye kuch nahi bacha,” Rakhi shared on her post. She used heart emojis while remembering her mom, missing her and expressing her love for her aai.

Rakhi shared two more videos from the hospital. During one such video, she revealed that Jaya was fighting cancer for 25 days in a painful condition.

Rakhi’s mother was in a critical condition. She was fighting cancer and died of multi-organ failure, Rakhi confirmed to ETimes. The actress also revealed that the cancer spread to kidney and lungs, which resulted in her mother’s untimely demise.

Jaya Sawant was battling cancer for three years. She was declared dead while undergoing treatment at Citicare hospital in Juhu. The demise occurred around 8.45 pm IST.

Rakhi was by her mother’s side during her final moments. The actress spoke about her mother being treated for cancer just a few days prior. She also got married to her boyfriend Adil Durrani soon after the revelation.

Rakhi is yet to confirm the date and time of her mother’s last rites.
