Oscar-winning actor Brendan Fraser plays an American struggling actor named Phillip Vanderploeg living in Japan’s Tokyo. His life takes a turn when he gets a work opportunity after a rental family agency contacts him to collaborate with them and use his actor skills to fill in the emotional gaps of different people. Takehiro Hira (Shōgun) appears in the role of Shinji, an agency owner.
