Saali Mohabbat, marking Hindi film industry actor Tisca Chopra’s debut as a director for a full-length feature film, was aiming for 2024 release. The movie was ready and was doing rounds of film festivals. Eventually, the makers decided to go the direct-to-OTT way and thus, the movie ended up on Zee5 (OTTplay Premium) by the end of 2025.

Apart from Radhika Apte and Divyenndu, Saali Mohabbat also features Anurag Kashyap in a pivotal role. The movie is inspired from Delhi's Geeta Colony double murder case. The crime-thriller also features Anshumaan Pushkar and Saurasini Maitra in the leading roles.

The story mainly revolves around the character of Smita. The tale is narrated by Kavita, a character played by Radhika Apte. The film navigates Smita’s life as a small-town housewife, as Kavita narrates her story. Kavita gets entangled in a twisted crime, which makes her question everything she once trusted. Is love replaced by deceit or is there hope, is what the film tries to touch upon. Divyenndu plays the role of investigative officer Ratan Pandit, who is assigned to solve the rather complicated case (or so it may seem).
