Rishton ke bhi roop badalte hain... Who knew, though, that this saas-bahus would upend the game and be so brazen? A teaser for Disney+ Hotstar featuring the Hatke saas-bahus and beti is out! Four women will be seen managing a corporate empire in this new era of these familial links, dispelling stereotypes and not just playing the power game, but owning it! Saas Bahu aur Flamingo a Maddock Films production, will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on May 5, 2023.

Homi Adajania, the show's passionate director and creator, is supported by a stellar female cast that includes Dimple Kapadia, Radhika Madan, Angira Dhar, and Isha Talwar, as well as a gifted ensemble that includes Ashish Verma, Varun Mitra, Udit Arora, Deepak Dobriyal, and Monica Dogra, among others.

Dimple Kapadia said in a statement that she finds it challenging to describe Saas Bahu aur Flamingo as a voyage since it is unlike anything she has ever seen or experienced. Savitri doesn't curl up and die when tragedy hits and the world rejects her; instead, she emerges from the ashes and forges her path. What she adores about her character is this: She has a different moral compass. She only trades trust for money. The most captivating and badass Saas one has ever seen is Savitri. She has several mysterious faces. She is a master of manipulation, brutality, and exposure in a game of high stakes that hangs in the balance between life and death. Her group of ladies faces the most challenging circumstances with grit and determination while creating the largest empire from nothing. They meet strong women who are prepared to die but not change the lives they have chosen in the bizarre and terrible world of Savitri. It's excellent that Saas Bahu aur Flamingo on Hotstar Specials is exploring these unusual themes and showcasing women who, no matter what moral perspective they are seen from, are unbreakable in spirit.

Radhika Madan shared that they have observed a gradual change in the dynamics of a mother-daughter connection through Saas Bahu aur Flamingo. As Savitri's daughter, she plays a character that one definitely wants on their side but wouldn't want on their bad side. She has previously collaborated with Homi Adajania, and she loves the way he uses his sharp viewpoint to build the story. The actor really connected with his interpretation of Saas Bahu aur Flamingo and the character dynamics in it, and she can't wait for viewers to watch it on Disney+ Hotstar soon.

Angira Dhar continued by saying that when they hear the term "saas bahu" they immediately conjure up the muted, conventional image of women that they have all grown accustomed to seeing on television. This same idea is challenged in Saas Bahu aur Flamingo on Disney+ Hotstar—and in a big way! It does not hesitate to present thrilling action and pulp mixed with an engaging plot. It reveals women in a whole new light and is meant to astonish us all.

Isha Talwar declared that the ladies in Saas Bahu aur Flamingo have successfully battled conditioning, believe in speaking out for other women, and are aware of their role in society as a whole. She has been itching to collaborate with director Homi Adajania for a while, and she is thrilled that it finally came to pass with a once-in-a-lifetime part in Saas Bahu aur Flamingo!

Furthermore, Homi Adajania added that he wanted to dispel stereotypes and create a chaotic world where strong women were in charge; the Saas-Bahu trope was the biggest one they were able to do this with. Dimple Kapadia, Radhika Madan, Angira Dhar, and Isha Talwar are just the kind of strong actors he was looking for. They have given their characters life and ownership, which has made them incredibly distinct. Even though they are a dysfunctional family, when they feel threatened, they come together as a formidable force. And one doesn't want to be in their way when it happens.

Savitri, the matriarch, her daughters-in-law Bijli and Kajal, and her daughter Shanta all reside in Hastipur, a remote village in the northwest, and are the focus of the series. Savitri is the owner of a business called Rani Cooperative that sells anything from textiles to jari-booti balms. Yet nothing in this place is exactly as it seems. It turns out that this side venture is only a cover for the largest drug gang operating in South Asia.
