The latest Malayalam movie, Sahasam made its online debut today (October 1). Sun NXT and OTTplay Premium are streaming the comedy drama, which features significant roles from Babu Antony, Ramzan, and Narain.

The movie debuted on OTT two months after its theatrical release on August 8. On these popular online services, viewers will be able to watch Sahasam in both Tamil and Malayalam. The film's creators have revealed that it will soon be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. A precise date hasn't been announced, though.

Although it wasn't widely expected before its big-screen premiere, Sahasam was highly praised for its humorous storyline and performances, and it had a good run in theatres before the end of August Onam releases. Sahasam hailed as a good comedy of chaos

Jeevan and Sera, a young couple is at the centre of the story. The duo are in love and intend to get married. Sera's family drives her to marry her cousin's best friend, and she and Rony attempt to elope several times but fails due to interventions. When a criminal on the run arrives in Jeevan and his friends' apartment, anarchy erupts. Surprisingly, Rajiv Nambiar leads a group of police officers into the crowd in suspicion of his wife of having an affair.

Bibin Krishna, best known for his directorial, Twenty-One Grams, which is available for viewing on JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium, helmed this comedy-drama. Supporting roles in Sahasam are also being played by Baiju Santhosh, Yog Japee, Shabareesh Varma, Gouri G Kishan, Tessa Joseph, Ramzan, Varsha Ramesh, Sajin Cherukayil, Jeeva Joseph, and Ann Salim. The film's screenplay was written by the director.
