Saif Ali Khan to play a fireman in his latest signing, Fire

Saif Ali Khan reunites with Excel Entertainment after 20 years for the forthcoming project.

Saif Ali Khan is one of the busiest actors in the movies currently. He has been shooting for multiple projects simultaneously and has also been having back-to-back releases. Now, in his forthcoming project, Saif is all set to reunite with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment for two decades. Yes, the actor will be seen in a film titled Fire directed by Rahul Dholakia. In the movie, Saif will be seen as a firefighter.

Confirming the same, the Sacred Games actor told Pinkvilla, "I have been wanting to do a film with Excel for a while now. We have signed up for a film called Fire. It’s about the fireman."

Saif also added that he is looking forward to working with them as they have not done a film together since Dil Chahta Hai. While praising Farhan and Ritesh's production house, the actor further said, "They are so organized and have a lovely work atmosphere for the actors. I am looking forward to getting into Fire."

Meanwhile, Saif's upcoming projects include a variety of roles. The actor will next be seen in Bunty Aur Babli 2 alongside Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh.

The actor also has Adipurush featuring Prabhas in the titular role, while Saif will be seen as Lankesh. Whereas Kriti Sanon has been roped in to play Sita and Sunny Singh as Laxman. The mythological film is directed by Om Raut.

Saif will also star in the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Vikram Vedha alongside Hrithik Roshan. Moreover, after the success of Bhoot Police the makers have confirmed that the sequel is also in the works.

The horror-comedy dropped on Disney+ Hotstar a few days back after skipping the theatrical release. Bhoot Police also featured Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Yami Gautam in the lead roles.
