The wait is over as the release date of Sarzameen is finally out and it is releasing on JioHotstar on July 25. Sharing the news, Karan Johar wrote on his Instagram, "Sarzameen ki salamati se badhkar kuch nahi #Sarzameen, releasing July 25, only on @jiohotstar!"

Sarzameen is an upcoming Bollywood film starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kajol, and Ibrahim Ali Khan, directed by Kayoze Irani. The movie is a hard-hitting drama set in Kashmir. The teaser shows Prithviraj Sukumaran in the role of a soldier while Kajol plays his wife. In the background, Sukumaran can be heard saying, “Sarzameen ki salamati se badhkar kuch nahi." Prithviraj looks promising during his action moves, and his expression is, as usual, praiseworthy, leaving everyone to anticipate the release of the film.

Meanwhile, the clip gives a glimpse into the film's storyline and also unveils Ibrahim Ali Khan's character as a terrorist. This is his second Bollywood film after making his debut with the movie Nadaniyaan. Towards the end of the Sarzameen teaser, we have an epic face-off between Ibrahim and Prithviraj. It will be an interesting watch as Kajol and Prithviraj's on-screen chemistry looks captivating, while Ibrahim's amazing visuals.

Kajol on working with Ibrahim Ali Khan in Sarzameen

In an interview with Variety, Kajol opened up about her experience working with Ibrahim Ali Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the movie. "I’ve worked with Prithviraj (Sukumaran) for the first time and he’s absolutely wonderful to work with and so was Ibrahim (Ali Khan), so I think it’s going to be quite interesting to see both of them on screen," she said.

The film is an action mystery thriller, which is backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, and helmed by Kayoze Irani. Catch Sarzameen on JioHotstar on July 25.
