Sarzameen plot

Sarzameen is set in the backdrop of Jammu and Kashmir, and the story centers on an army officer, Vijay Menon (Prithviraj Sukumaran), who is dedicated to his duty and willing to make personal sacrifices for the nation even if it means not taking his family's side.

His wife, Meera (Kajal), is a strong woman who is trying to keep her family together even amidst this turmoil. Adding to the complexity, Ibrahim Ali Khan plays Harman, a young man, son of Meera and Vijay, struggling with his past and facing difficult decisions that put him at odds with his family and his nation. He faces off against Vijay, leading to an intense action sequence. This film explores how characters deal with the conflict between personal loyalty and national duty, highlighting the human cost of conflict and the psychological stress it places on individuals and families.

The story takes a deep look at the characters' internal conflicts, particularly the father-son dynamic, as they overcome ideological differences and the consequences of their choices.
