At an event held in Chennai, it was announced that ZEE5 is gearing up for the release of its next series titled Sattamum Neethiyum. The series will premiere on OTTplay Premium from July 18 onwards and stars veteran actor Saravanan in the lead role.

Saravanan, who rose to fame as a leading man in Tamil cinema and later carved a niche for himself with strong character roles, returns to the spotlight with a performance full of intensity and emotional depth. Starring alongside him, is Namritha MV, with the series directed by debutant Balaji Selvaraj, and produced by Sasikala Prabhakaran under the banner 18 creators.

Speaking at the event, the ZEE5 South Content Head Kaushik Narashiman said, “ZEE5 has always backed bold, original stories that reflect the realities of our society. With Sattamum Neethiyum, we explore justice, conscience, and courage in a way that’s raw, rooted, and deeply relatable.”

What is Sattamum Neethiyum all about?

As per the makers, Sattamum Neethiyum will be a story about "the voice of the voiceless." The official synopsis of the series tells about how the show will capture about how an ordinary citizen stands up against a powerful system, representing the many who have been oppressed. The series promises an emotionally charged, suspense-filled courtroom narrative that keeps audiences engaged from start to finish. Further updates on the cast and crew, plot, trailer of Sattamum Neethiyum are expected to come out in the coming days.
