Back in Dhurandhar, Saumya Tandon had slapped Akshaye Khanna when they lost their son at the beginning of the movie. She did it out of frustration, hinting at how her husband’s involvement in politics took their son’s life. In the role of Rahman Dakait, Akshaye Khanna had a polite reaction to the slap. Netizens took note of the reaction and the scene went viral.
With Dhurandhar 2 as well, beginning with Dakait’s death scene, Hamza (played by Ranveer Singh) was at the receiving end for the slap. Of course, he did not emote the same was as Dakait, and she walked away after taking out her frustration with the one slap. Currently, it is the Hindi film with the highest Box Office opening day and is only second Indian film to have the biggest opening day after Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2.
