Whenever one mentions of stellar actors in Bollywood who have served as pillars for decades together and have been inspiration to many, the list will be definitely incomplete without the mention of the legendary Anupam Kher and the late Amrish Puri. Besides being stellar actors, the other element of commonality that binds these two stalwarts is their baldness. Speaking of baldness, recently, Anupam Kher recently took to social media and shared a golden olden video that had him and the late Amirish Puri. It seemed like they had come together for an award function.

The inimitable personality that Anupam Kher is, can be seen holding the mic with full confidence as he sang the ‘twisted’ version of the yesteryear’s hit track ‘Dil tadap tadap ke keh raha hai aa bhi jaa’. Within seconds of Anupam Kher’s singing, he wins your attention and heart. Giving him ‘company’ is none other than the late Amrish Puri, who also rendered a small portion of the song in his unmistakable baritone voice. The ‘twisted’ version of the track was a song that was about… baldness! Do not miss the fun banter which the two legendary actors- Anupam Kher and the late Amrish Puri have together while the former is singing the twisted version of the track. Towards the end of the video clip, the 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' actor is seen saying “Yeh pessimistic attitude hai, doston” (Friends… this is a pessimistic attitude).

Anupam captioned the post (in Hindi), wherein he stated, "Yaadon ke pulindon se: bahut saal pehle ek stage show mein ye gaana gaya tha!! Ganje logon ka mazaaq udaaya tha. Amrish ji ki muskurahat mein kitna bholaapan tha. Yeh filmon mein rishton ka golden period tha! Rishte aasaani se ban jaate the. Aur zindagi bhar ke liye chalte the”. (From the bundles of memories: This song was sung in a stage show many years back!! I was making fun of bald people. There was so much innocence in Amrishji's smile. This was films’ golden period of relationships. Relationships were formed very easily, and it used to go on for life)!!"

On the professional front, Anupam Kher will now be seen in the much-talked about film by Vivek Agnihotri, which has been titled ‘The Vaccine War’. Besides this, Anupam Kher will also be seen in ‘The Signature’ as well as Kangana Ranaut's period drama ‘Emergency’.
