Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been through many ups and downs, both in her professional and personal lives. The Shaakunthalam actor, who is perhaps in the best phase of her career, has had a few upsets in her personal life.

Last year, Samantha announced her separation from husband and fellow actor Naga Chaitanya. In the second half of 2022, The Family Man Season 2 shocked fans after she revealed that she was suffering from myositis, which is an autoimmune disease.

Samantha, who is currently busy promoting her upcoming mythological Telugu film Shaakunthalam, took time out to respond to some questions that her fans asked her on her Twitter page.

On Sunday, on follower asked Samantha, "Dude, where do you get ur strength from.. how do u keep on going strong despite so many f**kups happening.."

To this, Samantha replied that it is because she is the one who decides how her story will end. Her reply was, "Because this is not how my story will end☺️ I decide 🤍"

Directed by Gunasekhar, Shaakuntalam is based on Kalidasa's popular play, Abhignyana Shakuntalam. Samantha plays the titular role in the film, which also stars Sachin Khedekar, Kabir Bedi, Dev Mohan, Mohan Babu, Kabir Duhan Singh, Madhoo, and Prakash Raj.

The film is a love story between the beautiful Shakuntala and the mighty king Dushyanta, who is a brave and noble hero.

Shaakunthalam will release in theatres on April 14.
