The report quoted a source stating that while Hrithik Roshan was the original choice for Alpha cameo, the response to War 2 did not help the actor. Thus, YRF sought out Shah Rukh Khan, who is trying to clear his schedule from King to make time for Alpha. "Shah Rukh Khan had blocked the entire November for the shoot of King, but at the request of Adi, he is trying to reschedule the commitment to make his cameo in Alpha a reality. He will confirm his presence in a week to 10 days. If not a proper cameo, he might just shoot for an end-credit sequence of Alpha," the little birdie said.

Salman Khan considered too?

Salman Khan might also be considered for a cameo appearance as Tiger. However, this would be possible only if the script demands it and the cameo could match the level of Tiger's cameo in Pathaan. For now, Salman's appearance in Alpha might or might not happen.
