Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway, starring Rani Mukerji, releases in theatres today, March 17. Many critics have seen the movie, and they have given it rave reviews, with the actress receiving particular accolades for playing the lead role. In their social media, a number of Bollywood celebrities have also expressed their opinions about the movie.

Shah Rukh Khan, who just scored the biggest box office success of his career with Pathaan called Mrs. Chatterjee and Norway to be a "must-watch" on Twitter. The superstar wrote, "What a tremendous effort by the whole team of Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. My Rani shines in the central role as only a Queen can. Director Ashima, shows a human struggle with such sensitivity. Jim, @AnirbanSpeaketh, #Namit, #SaumyaMukherjee, #BalajiGauri all shine. A must watch."

In addition to appearing in a number of movies together, including Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Veer-Zaara, and Chalte Chalte, Shah Rukh and Rani Mukerji have a terrific relationship off-screen as well.

The real-life story of an Indian woman named Sagarika Chakraborty and her husband, who had to contend with a legal battle for the custody of their children in Norway, served as the basis for the film Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway. She even detailed her experience in a book called The Journey Of A Mother.

Ashima Chibber, who made her directing debut with the 2013 comedy Mere Dad Ki Maruti starring Saqib Saleem, Ram Kapoor, and Rhea Chakraborty, is in charge of the poignant drama. She has directed numerous television shows and web series over the past ten years, and the upcoming movie marks her second attempt as a director.
