I did a couple of action films but when a director directs and tells you how to do a certain scene, you have to be smart enough to understand and take it from him that if you're playing a massy and strong hero - something which I haven't played before - I imbibed that and as a matter of fact, helped me do what I did in Jawan. As we've become friends now for 2-3 years, what's also transpired is that he's understanding how I would like to create a new kind of macho hero. His organization made me a macho hero."
