The film revolves around a small village possessed by an evil spirit that falls from the sky. A scientist, played by Aadi Saikumar, enters the town and helps the locals by unraveling the mystery. Director Yogendra Muni has presented the story in a gripping manner, with strong narration and thrills.

Shambhala marks a solid comeback for Aadi Saikumar and puts his career back on track. The film stars Archana Iyer as the female lead, and her performance and chemistry with Aadi Saikumar have also been appreciated.
