Malayalam actor Shane Nigam, who has proven his versatility with movies such as the action-packed RDX and horror movie Bhoothakaalam has announced his Telugu debut film. Tentatively titled Shane Nigam 27, the upcoming film is directed by Sagar Udagandla. The actor also shared a video, revealing his look and what to expect from his Telugu movie.

Is Shane Nigam entering Telugu cinema

Shane Nigam on Thursday announced his 27th movie, which also marks his Telugu debut, with a video glimpse. “Stepping into Telugu Cinema with this. Need all your blessings,” he wrote on social media. The video begins with a speeding car that comes to a halt, with Shane making a stylish entry. He moves with a swag as he pops open a bottle and smokes away in the video, and his movements are well complemented by Sam CS music. The actor, known for his dance moves and action sequences, looks to make a splash in the mighty Telugu industry. The untitled film will also be released in Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi.

Dwarakesh and Aboorvan are in charge of cinematography of the upcoming film, which is likely to go on floors in May, as per a report on Greater Andhra.

Other cast and crew details were not immediately revealed.

Shane’s fans were excited to see the glimpse. The Malayalam actor had earlier made his Tamil debut with Madraskaaran.

Which are the other Shane Nigam movies

Shane Nigam was last seen in the Malayalam movie Haal, which released in theatres for Christmas 2025. Before that, he was seen in the sports-action drama Balti. Both films are yet to be released online.

Earlier, a Malayalam movie titled Dridam was announced to be directed by Praveen Nath. The first-look poster from the film, presented by Jeethu Joseph, depicted Shane as a cop.
