Varun Alagh joins Shark Tank India 5

A few days ago, the makers announced that Varun Alagh has replaced his wife, Ghazal Alagh and joined Shark Tank India 5 as a new judge. He is the CEO & Co-founder of Honasa Consumer Ltd, the powerhouse behind Mamaearth, The Derma Co. Aqualogica, and Ayuga.

Introducing Varun, Ghazal said in a promotional video, “This time my role is a little different. I am not here to mentor founders. I will mentor a particular shark. You are about to get a very big surprise. You’ll not see ‘Mama Earth’ but ‘Papa Earth.'"

Apart from Kanika Tekriwal and Varun Alagh, Shark Tank India 5 also features Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, Kunal Bahl, and Mohit Yadav as judges.
