Ashneer Grover recently shared the story of one of the first entrepreneurs to secure a deal on the show and how his business is doing now.

In an Instagram post, Grover, the former founder of BharatPe posted a photograph of himself with Beyond Snacks founder, Manas Madhu. Beyond Snacks also shared a photograph of its founder with Grover, thanking the latter for his support.

On Shark Tank India, Madhu pitched his snack brand which provides a healthier, more hygienic version of traditional Kerala style banana chips in different flavours. The sharks including Shaadi.com’s CEO and founder, Anupam Mittal, boAt co-founder and CMO, Aman Gupta, Emcure Pharmaceuticals’ executive director, Namita Thapar, Lenskart’s co-founder and CEO, Peyush Bansal and Grover were impressed by the vibrant pitch and product. Mittal and Bansal offered Madhu a deal, which asked for a higher stake than what the entrepreneur had initially offered. But then Grover and Gupta came in on a deal together, matching up with Madhu’s initial offer for Rs 50 lakhs for an equity stake of 2.5% in his company. The entrepreneur readily accepted Gupta and Grover’s deal.
