What are the plot, cast and other details of Sheshippu?

Sheshippu is a story built on loneliness, nostalgia, and the suppressed emotions that make up close connections. In terms of production value and the performances of the main characters, it thrives on simplicity with less known artistes playing the lead. The main character of the movie is a lonely ghost writer who encounters a traumatised woman. An unanticipated kinship is formed when two broken souls come together. They discover that they can find comfort and strength in each other's company through their shared suffering and tenuous hope.

Meenakshi Jayan, Rashid Rahman, and Rajan Pootharakkal star in the one hour and twenty-five-minute film, which was directed by debutantes Sreejith S Kumar and Gritto Vincent. Sheshippu has received backing from the creators of Pallotty 90's Kids.

The film was formally selected for the 30th International Film Festival of Kerala's Malayalam Cinema Today category (IFFK 2025). Sheshippu, according to the directors, has a grounded narrative approach based on psychological complexity, grounded performances, and a distinctive production style.
