The upcoming romantic tale Shiddat has been grabbing many eyeballs for a while, due to the outstanding chemistry of the lead pair Sunny Kaushal and Radhika Madan. In a recent chat with Telegraph, Sunny opened up about his love for the movie and the admiration towards the music in it.

The actor is excited about the love story and the praisals the duo has been receiving for their chemistry. He thinks there is a unanimous positivity around the film, which makes him feel so good.

Sunny plays the role of Jaggi alongside Radhika’s Kartika. Delving deep into Jaggi, he said, when it comes to relationships, he is like the character, emotional and vulnerable. Jaggi is a very intense one who is ready to go to any extent for his love, and he is not someone who gives up easily. The actor said he could relate to Jaggi, and also he happens to have his personal aspects in every character he has played.

He also shared a bit of his personal experience about relationships, being a very deep person who would take any risks for someone he loves. He said he would rather be a vulnerable one who shares every happiness and sorrow with his partner, than being not comfortable at all. To the question about the meaning of the word Shiddat according to him, he replied it as passion. He thinks that everything we do should be out of passion, and so we would give our cent percent to it.

The movie is gearing up for an OTT release on on Disney+Hotstar on October 1. Being very practical about this, the actor said in the middle of the pandemic, one should see OTTs as an option to entertain people. He sees it as a responsibility, at the same time he is looking forward to our lives getting back to normal.
