The Haryanvi short film releases on Chaupal and OTTplay Premium on July 17, 2025. Shorr features Meera, Amarjeet Singh, Neha, and Chattar Singh in lead roles. Written by Amit Khanagwal, the story of Shorr revolves around the emotional journey of two women in rural India.
The story focuses on two women with different personality traits. While one leads a silent existence, with her struggles and hardships in life not known to those around her. The other woman is depicted as bold and outspoken. She speaks her mind and is not afraid to stand up for what is right, and is ready to fight against societal taboos. However, their paths cross unexpectedly, bringing a profound change in their lives.
The two women then embark on a powerful journey, facing many challenges and obstacles. The introverted woman finally finds her voice, standing up to the society that seeks to silence her.
