After the debacle of Jack, Sidhu Jonnalagadda has maintained a very low profile and is silently wrapping up his new film titled Badass, which is being directed by Ravikanth Perepu. The other day, we at OTTplay revealed that Sidhu has also signed a Netflix series, which will be directed by Venky Atluri of Lucky Bhaskar fame. The project will be backed by the makers of DJ Tillu and is said to be a lavishly mounted action drama.

If that wasn’t enough, Sidhu has now signed yet another film. We at OTTplay have learned that he will be seen in a crime drama directed by Swaroop RSJ, who last made Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya with Naveen Polishetty. Reports suggest that Sidhu heard the final narration, loved the project, and gave his nod.

The film has been titled Rambo and revolves around an ordinary Brahmin boy who turns into a detective agent for a special purpose. The movie is expected to blend hilarious comedy with action elements.

Going back in time, Swaroop’s last film, Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, was also a detective-based film that won the hearts of many. This time, he has reportedly added a stronger comedic touch to suit Sidhu’s image.

Following the success of DJ Tillu and Tillu Square, Sidhu Jonnalagadda became known for his impeccable comic timing and unique screen presence. This new film is also said to be made along similar lines, with a mix of comedy and action.

Pre-production of the film is currently underway. Once Sidhu completes Badass and the Netflix web series, Rambo with Swaroop RSJ will be officially announced.
