Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani officially announced the arrival of their first child, a baby girl born on July 15 in Mumbai, as of July 16, 2025. "Our hearts are full, and our world is forever changed," was the message that the couple used to announce the news on social media.

Simple yet heartful announcement

The couple has not revealed the newborn's name or any pictures. A pink backdrop with heart-shaped balloons and golden typography made up the announcement's modest design.

The mother and daughter are reportedly doing fine after the delivery, which took place at Reliance Hospital. The two stars, who tied the knot in a private ceremony in Jaisalmer in February 2023, are now parents.

Student of the Year coincidence

Numerous well-known figures in the film industry, as well as fans and colleagues, have taken to social media to express their congratulations on the news, which has garnered considerable attention. Work commitments and likely parental break

Meanwhile, Kiara's War 2 filming is over, which is slated to release on August 14, 2025. The film, directed by Ayan Mukerji stars Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in the lead roles. Sidharth's Param Sundari in which he stars opposite Janhvi Kapoor, will now be released in August this year instead of July. However, it is safe to assume that they will be taking a break from work to care for their new baby.

There have been no interviews or encounters between the couple and the media since the announcement, so for now, they are keeping a low profile. It seems that this declaration is their sole intended means of communicating about this personal achievement at the moment.
