Single Papa actor Kunal Kemmu tags Neha Dhupia as 'master of disguise,' recalls scene with Prajakta Koli that took 30 minutes to wrap

Kunal Kemmu is currently buzzing owing to his upcoming web series Single Papa. The actor recalled his time shooting with Neha Dhupia and Prajakta Koli. While calling Neha Dhupia 'master of disguise,' Kunal also went on to reveal an incident where he and Prajakta Koli took 30 minutes to wrap a simple scene because they couldn't stop laughing.

Kunal ended up calling Prajakta Koli a very spontaneous and intelligent actor. The actor was impressed about how Prajakta immediately picked on the 'sur' of the character. He then revealed a scene between them which became so funny that it took 25-30 minutes to wrap up. "Camera ke paar woh log gaali nahi de rahe the lekin humein sunai de rahi thi," Kunal stated. With it, Kunal mentioned that he saw a little bit of the show and praised Prajakta's work in it. "It just feels like they're a family who behave like a family and belong together."

Prajakta, on the other hand, confessed that she is relatively newer on the block and dropped in as a fangirl admiring all of them. "After testing for the show, main jitne bhagwaan hai unn sab ko bol kar aayi thi ki yeh dilva dena," she said, recalling how everybody was so warm that the process became quite easy.

Neha Dhupia said, "It is so tough to work with comedy stalwarts while keeping a straight face!" At this moment, Kunal asked her for the mic and ended up calling Neha a 'master of disguise.' He shared, "When she arrived on sets, it felt like she wasn't prepared at all." He recalls how Neha would constantly demand to take Kunal's close-up while she prepares. As she prepared, she would constantly look at the script and at him. This left him wondering that she didn't understand anything. "Jaise hi camera ghoomta tha, woh chaar minute ka dialogue ek saath bolti thi. Then I realized that she is all about confusing others so that she shines." Neha defended herself, stating that she wanted to go later because all the actors were so good.

Kunal Kemmu stated how Single Papa has been different content for the OTT space and that made him want to take up the project. "Shashank was making something different from what has been happening in the OTT space. Not only did I get a chance to play a single father but also family relationships - with father, sister, mother or friends. Basically, this proves the saying - The child is the father of man. Iske bacche ki zindagi mein aane se, yeh kahi na kahi bada ho jaata hai," the actor shared.
