Sir: The Telugu version of Dhanush-Venky Atluri film makes impressive numbers in two days

Sir: The Dhanush starrer makes good numbers on day two in Telugu states

Sir marks the debut of Dhanush in Telugu. The film directed by Venky Atluri released on the 17th of this month in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. While the openings in Tamil were solid as it is Dhanush's own backyard, the Telugu collections were not also dull. The film made 5 crores gross on day one in Telugu states which was Dhanush's highest so far.

Well, the day collections of the film are also solid as the film made 6 crores gross in Telugu states. The film has made over 11 crores gross now and today being a holiday and not many films to compete, Sir will have a good run at the box office for sure. Sithara Entertainments and Trivikram Srinivas have jointly produced this film.

One more Telugu film, Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha was also released yesterday but there will be no competition for Sir as the genre and star power of Dhanush is completely different. The Hindi film Shehzada too is not working at the Telugu box office which gives Sir a good chance to make more.

Sir is based on the education system and how private organizations provide it to us as a business model. Dhanush's sincere performance has been appreciated a lot in this film which had Samyuktha Menon as the female lead. GV Prakash's music has also helped the film in a big way.
