Sirai , the recently released Tamil film starring Vikram Prabhu in the lead role, is now streaming on ZEE5. The crime drama which details a police procedural, can be watched via OTTplay Premium as well. While only the Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions are available now, the streaming platform will soon add the Telugu version as well.

Sirai OTT release: When and where to stream the film in Telugu?

Sirai is a 2025 Tamil film featuring Vikram Prabhu, newcomer LK Akshay Kumar, and Anishma Anilkumar in her Tamil debut in prominent roles. After its theatrical run, Sirai made its OTT debut on ZEE5 recently. Subscribers of OTTplay Premium can also stream the film.

While Sirai had been getting good reviews from audience and critics, the Telugu version is not available to watch. However, as per sources, the platform is looking to release Sirai in Telugu as well. It will stream in the language from January 30 onwards.

What is Sirai about?

Sirai is a crime drama that revolves around armed reserve official Kathiravan serving as escort police. In one of his journeys, he must produce accused of murder Abdul to court. During the travel, he not only learns about Abdul’s back story but also helps in getting him justice. Sirai, which is based on true events, talks about police procedure and highlights how justice and identity are entwined leaving some to be treated differently in the eyes of law.

Who is part of Sirai team?

Sirai is directed by debutant Suresh Rajakumari. It is written by director Tamizh who has earlier served the police department. While it is debut for LK Akshay Kumar, Anishma has earlier appeared in Malayalam films like Maranamass and I Am Kattalan. Ananda Thambirajah, Remya Suresh, PL Thenappan and others are also part of the cast. It is shot by Madhesh Manickam with music scored by Justin Prabhakaran.
