Sita Ramam is one of the many exciting films set for a release in the coming month (August 5). Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur play the lead pair in the war romance directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The film features an ensemble cast and the makers are aggressively promoting each of the characters over the last few weeks. After introducing the characters played by Rashmika Mandanna and Sumanth, now the team has unveiled the first look/glimpse of actor/director Tharun Bhascker as Balaji. Wearing a yellow-tee and sipping a bottle of Gold Spot, the role looks closer to his off-screen persona.

The glimpse released by the team has Tharun saying, “Balaji Hainaa.. Sab Sambhal Lega…” (Balaji will take care of everything). Sporting shades in a casual look, Tharun is effortlessly massy as Balaji and he has been putting the actor in him to good use in the recent past. Prakash Raj, Bhumika Chawla, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Rukmini Vijaykumar too play important roles in the film.

Cinematographed by PS Vinod and Shreyaas Krishnan, the film is edited by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. Two songs - Oh Rama Hey Sita and Inthandham- have released to positive responses from music buffs while the teaser too confirmed that this is an epic love story in the making. The film has wrapped its shoot and the post-production formalities are progressing at a brisk pace.

Sita Ramam, that marks the Telugu debut of Mrunal Thakur, will release simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages on August 5. The film has been extensively shot in Kashmir. The dialogues are written by Hanu Raghavapudi, Jay Krishna and Raj Kumar Kandamudi. Sunil Babu is the production designer and Sheetal Sharma is the costume designer.
