Slow Horses, the immensely popular British dark comedy spy thriller led by Gary Oldman, is soon returning for a 5th season. The Emmy-winning show, created by standup comedian Will Smith, which follows a bunch of disgraced or failed MI-5 agents, led by Gary Oldman’s Jackson Lamb, is based on the Slough House series by Mick Herron. Seasons 1 to 4 were based on the novels Slow Horses, Dead Lions, Real Tigers, and Spook Street.

Known as slow horses, these agents work under Jackson Lamb, and end up getting involved in cases that endanger Britain.
