Sanjay Dutt is yet to make an appearance in Son of Sardaar 2 songs and promos, and if even The Po Po song didn't bring him back, it is a big opportunity lost for Ajay Devgn

Back when Son of Sardaar released, Salman Khan made a cameo appearance in the song Po Po with Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, and Sanjay Dutt. It was a collaboration that would go down in history and a song that would become iconic over the years. The recreated version of The Po Po song for Son of Sardaar 2 has various elements missing. The main person you miss is the charm of Salman Khan. It is replaced with Guru Randhawa and the cast of the upcoming installment. Even though Sanjay Dutt is a part of Son of Sardaar 2, he still goes missing even with this iconic song. So, even if the track is passable because it is a vibe, it is still nothing like the original song.
Son of Sardaar song Po Po should have remained untouched if the makers couldn't upscale, and the proof is in the visuals. Dabangg jodi Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha came together for a song that had the most unique dance step. True to Salman's dance style, Ajay Devgn, Salman, Sonakshi and Sanjay Dutt got together only to blow air from one cheek to another. With that, we were introduced to Po Po song. Bright colours completed the track. Son of Sardaar 2, in that sense, is a missed opportunity.

Son of Sardaar 2's version of The Po Po song is a vibe for few, because it has Ajay Devgn, Guru Randhawa and Mrunal Thakur's combination. However, there is a section that misses the original track just as much.
Son of Sardaar 2, also starring Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Chunky Panday, Neeru Bajwa, Deepak Dobriyal, Kubbra Sait, Vindu Dara Singh, Roshni Walia, Sharat Saxena, Sahil Mehta and the late Mukul Dev in pivotal roles, is scheduled for theatrical release on July 25.
