Special Ops season 2 makers came up with a video that was titled, "For internal preview." This, many assumed, was actually Special Ops season 2 releasing earlier than the set time.
Special Ops season 2 indeed did not release early. The video was about Kay Kay Menon and Vinay Pathak warning the viewers that they should not fall for such links because one click on such a link can cause harm not only to their computer (virus) but could be a national-level security threat. The two shared the message in a rather quirky manner by picking up the guns, literally.

Special Ops season 2 is the story of Humans vs. AI. This time, Himmat Singh and his team are in a race against not just time but also machines. The threat has doubled, and the story has just gotten a lot more intriguing. The mystery is set to unfold tonight at 12 am, when the clock strikes the dawn of July 18, 2025.
Karan Tacker, Vinay Pathak, Dilip Tahil, Parmeet Sethi, Kali Prasad Mukherjee, Muzammil Ibrahim, Saiyami Kher, and Gautami Kapoor, all of whom have been a part of Himmat Singh’s team previously, are back for Special Ops season 2, after five long years. Tahir Raj Bhasin plays the lead antagonist in season 2, with Arif Zakaria, Kamakshi Bhat, Shikha Talsania, Prakash Raj, and Vikkas Manaktala coming in as fresh faces this season.
