Ahn Bo-hyun and Lee Joo-bin will be seen crossing paths in the small town of Sinsu. The story follows teacher Yoon Bom from Seoul, who has a dark past and gets transferred to a high school in Sinsu. There she meets a seemingly tough man, Seon Jae-gyu.

The teacher's quiet and peaceful life is disrupted after meeting Seon Jae-gyu. Despite his intimidating and rough exterior, he is a warm-hearted man full of quirky charm and unwavering devotion. As Jae-gyu pursues Yoon Bom with straightforward honesty, he begins to melt Yoon Bom's frozen heart, leading to a healing romance.

A large portion of Spring Fever has been shot in Pohang, South Korea, a small-town setting chosen for its wholesome breezy ocean views, capturing the charm of a seaside romance with scenes at beaches and even a sheep ranch.

Over the years, picturesque small-town storylines have proven to be the perfect setting for romance in K-dramas. Hence, Spring Fever is expected to build the same craze.

In a recent interview with Lee Joo-bin, lead actor Ahn Bo-hyun reflected on his experience working on Spring Fever K-drama near an oceanian small town. He stated that as he grew up in Busan, the ocean has always been a familiar part of his life but not so much in Seoul, where he lives now. So, filming in Pohang, where the ocean was right there, is one of the reasons for him to sign Spring Fever.
