Squid Game came to an end with season 3 and netizens are left unhappy with how things have unfolded. The season is unlike the first or even the second season and the deaths have either left the viewers uneasy but mostly pokerfaced. The voices simultaneously believe that the standards of the series dropped drastically and a lot of it had to do with how the script was written.

Squid Game US spin-off was in the talks and the last moments of Squid Game season 3 has confirmed that the spin-off is in the works. The cast of the new show was briefly introduced through the lens of an important character of Squid Game. Is it redemption, the start of something new or the same old tale retold? There's no second guesses because of the very scene that introduces the cast. Whether the Korean actors who are remaining from the Squid Game franchise make it to the US spin-off remains to be seen.
