Sreeleela is currently counting down to the release of her next in Telugu, Mass Jathara, which pairs her with Ravi Teja and hits theatres on October 31, 2025. The actress only other Telugu project after that is Ustad Bhagat Singh, starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead. She is also awaiting her Bollywood and Kollywood debuts with Kartik Aaryan and Sivakartikeyan, respectively. While her Hindi film remains untitled, the film with Sivakartikeyan is Parasakthi.

Sreeleela is Arundhati?

According to the latest buzz, Sreeleela is finalizing her next in Hindi already. Earlier today, reports stated that the actress is in consideration for the lead role in an upcoming Hindi remake of Anushka Shetty’s blockbuster Telugu horror fantasy film, Arundhati. The film is being backed by Allu Arjun’s home banner and will be directed by Thani Oruvan maker Mohan Raja. The fact that Sreeleela gate-crashed a promotional interview of Rashmika Mandanna’s The Girlfriend, produced by the same banner, is being cited as a sign that the Arundhati remake is definitely on.

The 2009 film Arundhati had Anushka in the title role and was one of the highest grossing Telugu films at the time. It was also the highest grossing film led by an actress until 2015 and is said to have registered a whopping 1.8 crore footfalls during its theatrical run. The film, which revolved around reincarnation and black magic, catapulted Anushka to superstardom.

Meanwhile, in Mass Jathara, Sreeleela plays a science teacher, a role that also requires her to speak in Srikakulam slang. The actress has been a part of several big-ticket films in Telugu, none of which had great commercial success. She, however, professes that she absolutely enjoys films in the genre, although high up on her wish list is to be a part of a full-fledged romantic drama.
